கடமை தவறாக் காவலன்!

சின்ன சின்ன சம்பவங்கள்
சிலிர்க்க வைக்கும் அனுபவங்கள்
சொல்லச் சொல்ல தெவிட்டாது
சொல்லுமே அழகு பெரும்.

என்னே என்னே என வியந்தேன்
என்றுமே வியப்பிலிருந்து மீளேன்.
வீற்றிருப்பது ஓரிடம் எனினும்
வீடெல்லாம் பரவி உள்ளாய்

நான் என்ன செய்துவிட்டேன்,
நாளும் உன்னை பூஜிக்க?
ஆனந்தம் கொண்டவன் நீ
ஆதலினால் என்னை ஏற்றாய்.

முழுமை பெற்றவன் நீ
முற்றும் அறிந்தவன் நீ
நிறைவு மிகவும் கொண்டதாலே
நித்தியம் என்னை காக்கிறாய்

தன்னிறைவு உன் குணம்
தன்மையாய்த் தெரிகிறது
எதிர்பார்த்து அடியவர் முன்
என்றுமே நின்றதில்லை

அறிந்து விட்ட காரணத்தால்
அடியவர் யாரென்று, அவரை
அனுதினமும் காப்பதே கடமையாய்
அழகனே! தவறாமல் காக்கிறாய்!

உனது அன்பில் ஒருதுளியேனும்
உனக்கு நான் தர விழைகிறேன்
எனக்கு நீ தரும் ஆனந்தம்
என்று நான் உனக்குத் தருவேனோ?

Fathers and good words!!

Fathers are a great source of strength for anyone, be it a King or a layman. Fathers and good words always go together. They may not plan to speak what they speak or sit and strategize their course of action, it is only that they are being themselves, because I remember vividly my dad's words when I was a child. They were not preplanned ones.

Every time I fill water bottles for fridge from a bigger vessel or a tumbler, I used to casually not spill. This used to be mentioned by my dad every time, "You pour so well, never spill anytime." Not a word more, not one less. Even today when I fill bottles I remember this and can't say how nice it feels. It gives quite a sea of confidence, not to agitate you to pride but to fill you with the perfect blend of self confidence and encouragement. This doesn't stop just with filling bottles, but remains the motivating factor for all that you try to do with concentration.

Positive words remain in memory and every time remembered gives the same feeling as it did the first time uttered. Same is true with negative words. Hence I realize how it is important for parents to speak good words to children. Harsh words bring bad vibrations while nice words always sound good.

கண்ணன் எனும் மன்னன்

கண்ணில் நிறை கண்ணனை,
கண் நிறை கண்ணனை.
கருவில் வை கண்ணனை
கருநிற வண்ணனை
உருவில் உயர் மன்னனை
அருவிநின்றும் உயர்ந்தவனை!

அள்ளித் தூவு மலர்களை
உள்ளில் நினைந்து அவனை
தெள்ளத் தெளிவாய் நாமம்
கள்ளம் அன்றி சொல்லிப்பார்!
நெருக்கம் கண்டு விடுவாய்
உருக்கமான அவன் உறவில்.
